Even if you have never been face to face with a sewing machine, the basics are easy to learn. Private instruction is offered at reasonable rates, with times, days and projects customized to your unique needs. Small groups are also welcome - plan an afternoon retreat with some friends and go home with new skills. Above all else, sewing is fun and uniquely satisfying.

 

I am a licensed Martha Pullen Heirloom Sewing instructor. Heirloom sewing may conjure up images of lace hankies and Royal Weddings. But I am also an experienced "practical" sewist who brings elegant and timeless heirloom techniques to everyday creations. So whether you want to make a gown to last for generations, or a cover for your barbecue, I'd love to teach you how.
